Pier Sixty-Six Residences in Fort Lauderdale to Reopen in 2024 with $300 Million Makeover

Pier Sixty-Six, a historic landmark in Fort Lauderdale known for its appearances in popular TV shows like “Scarface,” “Miami Vice,” and “The Love Boat,” is set to reopen in 2024 after undergoing an extensive $300 million makeover. Led by the Tavistock Development Company, the project aims to transform Pier Sixty-Six into a premier destination for locals and tourists alike.

The renovation, which began in 2021, includes the construction of a new 17-story hotel tower featuring 300 guest rooms and suites. A marina with 500 boat slips will also be built, catering to boating enthusiasts. One of the renovation’s highlights is a state-of-the-art pool complex with three pools, a lazy river, and a thrilling water slide.
