Venetian Islands, a six island chain of luxury waterfront living. Which was the path to get to Miami Beach from already establish Downtown Miami in the early 1900s. The Bridge was the longest wooden bridge at 2.5 miles and was called the Collins Bridge built by John S. Collins with financial assistance from developer and racing pioneer Carl G. Fisher.
